Indian steel mills have kept HRC export offers range-bound at around $580-585/t CFR Raxaul border. An Indian steel major booked around 20,000 t of HRC at $562/t ex-mill (equivalent to $582/t CFR) for end-May’24 delivery, informed sources. Moreover, HRC imports into Nepal inched down by 2% m-o-m to 39,771 t in Mar against 40,385 t in Feb.
