Australian coking coal prices increased by $25/t d-o-d to $252/t on 16 April 2024, on enhanced buying interest. According to market participants, a deal was heard to be concluded by a major Australian miner for 40,000t of premium mid vol coal Goonyella at $252/t for June loading.
