NMDC has scheduled an auction of 140,000 t of iron ore on 19 Apr’24 from its Kumaraswamy mines. Out of the total quantity, 64,000 t are lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.27-61.947%) and 76,000 t fines (Fe 58.12-62.13%). In its previous auction from the above mine on 15 Apr’24, 48,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.77%) were booked at INR 5,709/t while 96,000 t fines (Fe 59.9-60.96%) were booked at INR 3,588-3,782/t on ex-mines basis, including royalty, DMF and NMET.
