Vedanta-Electrosteel Steels Limited (ESL) conducted an auction for 18,000 t of iron ore CLO from Nadidih’s BICO and Feegrade mines in Odisha on 16 Apr’24. According to sources, 8,000 t CLO (5-18 mm, Fe 60%) got booked at INR 5,700/t against the base price of INR 5,200/t while another 10,000 t CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 60.5%) got booked at INR 5,550/t against the base price of INR 5,050/t. Prices are on ex-mines/plot basis and inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
