SeAH Changwon Special Steel will reduce iron scrap purchase prices by KRW 10,000/t from 15 Apr’24. Hyundai Steel’s Pohang Works followed suit, also reducing prices by KRW 10,000/t from the same date. Korea Special Steel will enact the same reduction from 16 Apr’24. Additionally, on 16 Apr’24, Korea Steel announced a KRW 10,000/t price cut for all scrap grades.
