Pig Iron exporters in Ukraine are offering it at $355/MT FOB Black Sea Ports, an increase of $5/MT from the previous week.
Pig Iron suppliers lifted exports prices due to slight improvement in booking orders from buyers.
Also, a major factor is that Turkish scrap import offers moved up to $375/MT the last day.
Enough stock available due to the festive holidays of EID accounted for price rise of HMS 1 & 2 (80:20) scrap, quoted at $358/MT CFR Turkey in the mid of October.
Pig Iron producers are offering material in the range of $350-355/MT FOB Black Sea Ports presently.
