Vietnam’s coal imports increase by 31% m-o-m to 4.46 mnt in Mar’24 as against 3.41 mnt in Feb’24. Australia (drop by 13%) was the largest exporter at 1.34 mnt. Indonesia coal exports to Vietnam surged significantly at 1.76 mnt as against 0.70 in Feb’24. and Japan at 0.05 mnt. Moreover, Imports from South Africa increase significantly to 0.57 mnt in the month under review.
