Canada’s coal exports rose by 7% m-o-m to 8.19 mnt in Mar’24 as against 7.68 mnt in Feb’24. The country exported the highest volume to South Korea at 0.99 mnt (drop by 43% m-o-m) followed by China at 0.84 mnt as against 0.66 mnt in Feb’24. Meanwhile, shipments to the Netherlands plunged by 24% to 0.68 mnt in the month under review. Notably, no exports were recorded to India in Mar’24.
