Spot iron ore prices in China gained almost 20% in last one month on improving steel prices and restocking. Currently, prices hover in range of $120/t CFR for Fe 63 and likely to trade in same range said industry experts.
In an interview given to Reuters Sesa Goa's MD Mr PK Mukherjee said that 63 Fe iron fines likely to trade in range of $110-120/t CFR, this fiscal.
He also said that company is expecting some positive news on Goa mining ban by November end.
“We will definitely have some positive news by Nov end, whether it is from the state or MoEF (Ministry of Environment and Forests) of the Supreme court's direction.” said Mr Mukherjee on possibility of removal on mining ban in Goa.
