An Iranian steel mill has concluded an export tender for 40,000 t of billets (150mm), sources informed. The deal was heard concluded at $484/t FOB for May’24 delivery. Prices decreased to over three-month low. Iran’s exports of semi-finished steel totalled 7.10 mnt, in the first eleven months of the current Persian year (21 March-20 February, 2024), up by 7% y-o-y, according to data from ISPA.
