The sole power supplier, Jindal, halted operations, affecting induction furnaces in Punjipathra, Raigarh. With only 12 hours of power supply due to turbine generator issues, production dipped. Only 30% of furnaces are operating at full capacity. The forty-five furnaces in Punjipatra have average production of about 5,000 t per day.
