The World Steel Association (worldsteel) reported that crude steel production for the 71 countries has increased by 3.7% y-o-y to 148.8 mnt in Feb’24. Moreover, the same inched up by 0.5% m-o-m against 148.1 mnt in Jan’24.
- China’s output went up by 3.5% y-o-y to 81.2 mnt.
- India’s production rose by 11.4% y-o-y to 11.8 mnt.
- Japan’s production inched up by 1.1% y-o-y to 7 mnt.
