- NMDC sold its entire quantity (over 145,000t) of fines and DR-CLO in the auction conducted on 19 Mar’24 from its Bacheli mines. Around 105,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 64%) were booked at INR 5,450 against the base prices of INR 5,350/t ($64/t). While 42,000 t of iron ore DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) was sold at INR 7,360/t ($89/t) against the base price of INR 7,280/t ($88/t). However, 8,400 t of ROM remained unsold.
- Prices were declared on FOR ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, and NMET.
