India: Buyers book over 40,000 t of iron ore lumps in auction from Karnataka

Vedanta: 16,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54.5%) got booked at INR 3,520/t from its A. Narrain mines on 15 Mar’24.
VESCO: 28,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.45- 64%) got booked at INR 6,250-6,760/t from its Ramanamalai mines on 11 Mar’24 while another auction for 20,000 t lumps fetched no bids.
Vedanta’s price excludes royalty, DMF & NMET while VESCO’s includes.
