Amid sharp increase in prices of pellet sponge, pellet prices in Barbil have also moved up.
Barbil pellet offers have moved up by INR 100-200/MT. Current offers for Fe 63% pellets are in the range of INR 3,000-3,200/MT (loaded to wagons).
Pellet (Fe 63%) offers of Arya Iron & Steel are in the range of INR 3,100-3,200/MT (loaded to wagons). Jindal Steel & Power pellet offers are at INR 3,000/MT (loaded to wagons).
Indian pellet offers have increased slightly over rise in prices of pellet sponge. P-DRI prices in east India have gone up by upto INR 600/MT W-o-W. However market participants shared that no significant improvement in pellet buying has been seen so far.
