- Producers of Iron Ore Pellets have sold it out in large quantitties and buying from blast furnaces has also increased
- Pellets prices move up as mentioned in last one month: Raipur Rs 700/MT, Jharsuguda Rs 600/MT, Bellary Rs 550/MT, Barbil Rs 500/MT amd Tatanagar Rs 400/MT
- In states such as Odisha, Karnataka and Goa, demand and supply gap of iron ore has been widening and hence Pellets prices have moved up
- Production was quite low in the start of Oct and improved on good demand from sponge iron manufacturers, which might be weak if power issues come up
- Major Players said, “Further price rise up to Rs 9,00/MT is anticipated as iron ore supply issue does not look to resolve anytime soon”
