The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has conducted an auction for 19,830 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 56.87%- indicative) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 16 Mar’24. According to sources, the entire quantity got booked at INR 2,450/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
