Asian buyers seem to have come back to the market with
trades now concluding at higher levels and greater level of participation is
visible from both manufacturers and traders.
64 Mid Volume HCC is being quoted at around $135/MT FOB
Australia in the spot market, higher by $3/MT from previous day. Panamax
freight cost from Australia to India has move down to around $16.5/MT.
Some level of skepticism still remains among the buyers in
the market considering the last quarter. However, conclusions of trades are
being continuously heard, signaling strength in the coking coal market.
