BigMint’s assessment of brass honey scrap (4%) from the Middle East rose by 1.6% w-o-w to $5,580/t, with some sellers presenting tentative high offers amid a hike in copper futures on LME w-o-w by around $257/t to $8,897/t, imported copper motor mix scrap from the US rose to $1,240/t with trades heard at same levels, CFR Mundra. Moreover, domestic copper prices rose by up to 1.6% d-o-d today.
