KSMCL held an auction for 132,000 t of iron ore on 13 Mar’24 from its Subbarayanahalli iron ore mines.
- 48,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 63.03%) got booked at INR 5,369-5,379/t against the base price of INR 5,349/t.
- 84,000 t fines (Fe 63.37%) got booked at INR 5,159-5,169/t against the base price of INR 4,889/t. Prices are on ex-mines basis, excluding royalty, DMF and NMET.
- Bid prices for fines were higher by INR 280/t.
