Sponge iron prices in India fell by INR 100-700/t on 12 March, 2024. PDRI market prices closed at a range of INR 25,150-27,300/t and CDRI prices, at INR 26,500-30,900/t. About 17,200 t of sponge iron transactions were recorded in the country on 12 March compared to 13,780 t on 11 March.
