BigMint’s weekly price assessment increased by $6/t to $356/t CPT Nepal for FeM 80% (70:30 Mix). Offers for Bangladesh also went up by $2/t to $364/t CPT Benapole. Two rakes (5,200 t) of sponge iron were sold at $331-333/t, LTW in eastern India, equivalent to $355-357/t CPT Nepal. Additionally, about 500 t of PDRI sponge (78-79% FeM) for Nepal by road at $305/t ex-mill in eastern India. Furthermore, approximately 12,000 t of sponge iron were sold to Bangladesh at around $360-365/t CPT Benapole.
