The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has conducted an auction for 19,860 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 58.24%- indicative) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 7 Mar’24. According to sources, the entire quantity got booked at INR 3,100/t. Price is on ex-mines basis and includes royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
