India’s zinc market showed upward price trends, with zinc ingot prices reaching INR 225,000/t, ex-Delhi, up by 1.8% w-o-w due to a INR 4,000/t hike in HZL prices. In Delhi NCR, around 40 t zinc ingots (99.99%) was heard traded around INR 225,000/t. Remelted lead prices remained stable at INR 176,000/t, ex-Delhi. In imports, Middle East zinc diecast (5%) rose by 0.5% w-o-w following LME zinc price increases.
