Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 104,877 t in Jan’24, marking a 15% rise from Dec’23 (91,084 t).
- The US led as the top exporter with 29,320 t, followed by Japan at 10,731 t and Australia at 10,139 t.
- However, on a y-o-y basis, the imported ferrous scrap volumes declined by 19% as compared to 130,217 t.
