Prices of spot thermal coal prices coming to India declined
slightly due to low buying and festive season in India.
Currently the market for 6000 NAR (FOB South Africa) is at $78/MT declined by $3/MT from the previous price, on the other hand Grade of
3800 GAR (FOB Indonesia) stands at $35/MT increased by $1/MT.
Due to non-availability of vessels in Richards Bay (South
Africa) the freight charges has increased by $1, currently capesize vessel coming
from South Africa to East Coast India attracts a freight of $14.50.
