Iran’s finished steel consumption remained largely stable y-o-y at 16.61 mnt in the first 10 months of the Persian year (21 Mar’23-20 Jan’24), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Consumption of flat steel increased by 5% y-o-y to 7.97 mnt, while demand for long steel products decreased by 3% y-o-y to 8.30 mnt.
