- Indonesia’s steel billet exports increased by 29% y-o-y to 2.91 mnt in CY23 as against 2.25 mnt recorded in the previous calendar year, as per data recently released by Customs.
- The Philippines was the largest importer with 639,771 t, followed by Taiwan with 375,843 t.
- In Dec’23, the country’s billet exports rose by 49% m-o-m to 381,857 t compared to 255,640 t in Nov’23.
