Today, India’s top iron ore miner, NMDC, conducted an auction for approximately 10,000 tonnes (t) of pit iron (pooled iron) from its Nagarnagar plant Located in Jagdalpur-Chhattisgarh. As per sources the auction fetched bid at price ranged from INR 32,000 to 32,200 per tonnes on an ex-work basis.
