SAIL-Barsua conducted an auction for 23,940 t of iron ore tailings in two lots on 3 Feb’24. According to sources,
- One lot of 4,040 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 58.28%) were booked at INR 3,680/t against the base price of INR 3,280/t
- Second lot of 19,900 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 56.56%) with base price of INR 2,850/t received no bid.
- Prices are on ex-mines basis and includes royalty, DMF, NMET and extra premium.
