Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) conducted a reverse auction for 1,700 t of ferro silicon (Si:70%, 40-100 mm) on 31 Jan’24. The L1 prices were at around INR 140,100/t FOR, inclusive of all taxes. Excluding GST and GEM portal charges, prices were at around INR 118,200/t FOR, sources informed. BigMint’s price assessment of ferro silicon (Si:70%, 25-150 mm) stood at INR 108,900/t exw-Guwahati on 29 Jan’24.
