BigMint’s assessment for iron ore-based DRI (FeM 80%) stands at $360/t CPT Nepal and offers for Bangladesh were at $365/t CPT Benapole for FeM 78, down by $7/t w-o-w. About 4,000 t of CDRI (FeM 78%) were sold to Bangladesh at $365/t CPT Benapole. Meanwhile, a Nepal mill secured 2,500 t of CDRI (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%) at $335/t LTW eastern India. According to sources, IF mills in Nepal have a healthy sponge iron inventory due to power outages.
