- NMDC, India’s largest iron ore producer, recorded output at 4.54 mnt in Jan’24, an increase of 1% m-o-m as against 4.48 mnt in Dec’23.
- Iron ore sales also rose by 9% m-o-m to 4.56 mnt in the month of Jan’24 as against 4.19 mnt in Dec’23.
- Meanwhile, cumulative production volumes rose by 17% y-o-y to 36.32 mnt in Apr-Jan’24 over 31.14 mnt in the same period last year.
