According to the International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG), global lead mine production reached 4.07 mnt in Jan-Nov’23, with a 3.1% increase in lead metal production to 11.77 mnt y-o-y. Refined lead usage grew marginally by 0.7% to 11.69 mnt. In contrast, zinc mine production dropped by 2% to 11.12 mnt, while refined zinc metal production increased by 3.9% to 12.7 mnt and usage rose by 1.4% to 12.49 mnt during Jan-Nov’23.
