A major north India-based 4-wheeler auto manufacturer recently held an auction for around 3,800 t of CR busheling prompt scrap (low manganese) from its Gurgaon facility. The entire quantity was booked at INR 37,000-37,100/t exw. Bid prices decreased by around INR 1,000-1,100/t against the last auction on Dec’23 at which around 3,000 t of material was sold at INR 38,100-38,200/t exw.
