India’s bar and rod production has touched at 6.3 MnT during Apr-Oct’15, as per monthly release report by JPC – Steel Ministry.
India’s bar and rod production by all integrated steel producers like RINL, SAIL, Tata Steel, JSW steel and Jindal Steel has significantly risen by 28.5% in Oct’15 to 1 MnT compared to previous month, according to monthly data released by JPC – Steel Ministry.
State owned, Steel Authority of India Limited has reported a sharp increase of 122% in bar and rod production in Oct’15 against Sept’15. The company has constituted about 33% of the total production in the month. Others producers’ production has increased moderately in the period.
In total, production of bar and rod by all integrated producers during Apr-Oct’15 has crossed the figure of 6 MnT.
