Braithwaite Invites Purchase Tender for 11,345 MT Steel Plates and Sections

Braithwaite & Co. Limited based in Kolkata is a leading public sector engineering industry with three manufacturing units having been accredited with ISO 9001 : 2008 quality standards for wagons, cranes, foundry products and heavy structural. The company has invited a tender on Rate-contract basis for purchase of 11,345.5 MT of steel plates, sections, rounds and square bars.

Bidders need to submit their offers separately in the following two-bid format:

1. Part I: Techno-commercial bid and EMD
2. Part II: Price bid

Eligibility criteria

1. Bidder needs to submit trade license, pan card, excise duty and sales tax/VAT registration certificate along with techno commercial bid. In case the bidder is retailer, copy of authorization from manufacturer is also need to be submitted.
2. Bidder should have an average turn over of INR 4.47 crore (minimum) during last 3 years.
3. Bidder should have past performance on supply of at least 2893.20 MT of steel plates per section for last 2 years.
