East African Portland Cement Company, Kenya’s leading cement manufacturer has invited a global tender for import of 180,000 MT coal. Bidders should submit their quotations till 09 Nov’15 at 12 hrs.
Interested bidders should quote their prices in CIF Mombasa basis and should be denoted in USD/MT or any other currency convertible into Kenya’s currency(Shillings). The quoted CIF price will include FOB, freight, premium and insurance. Also, bidders must mention the material’s country of origin in the bid documents.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Interested bidders should submit all the concern documents regarding capability, capacity, financial ability prior the the due date.
- Bidder’s company should posses a turnover of of not less than USD 25 million per annum.
Technical Specifications:
- Volatile carbon Matter (VCM): 20-25 %
- Gross Calorific value (GCV): Min 6,500 Kcal/kg
- Moisture: 8-12%
- Size: 15-50 mm
The bidders should submit their bid prices in 2 batches individually:
