Billet manufacturers in India lowered offers this week

Billet buyers preferred to wait regarding new purchases in good quantities on falling prices.

Offers slipped, as mentioned – Mandi Rs 600/MT, Durgapur Rs 300/MT, Chhattisgarh Rs 200/MT, Rourkela and Mumbai Rs 100/MT.

Offers in the Southern region remain unchanged. Whereas, no major movement was seen in prices at Jalna, Goa, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Kandla.

Market players are of the view that prices might not fall further in the next week and rollings mills running at around 50% production capacity should increase output further.
