NMDC, India’s largest iron ore producer, recently invited an EoI for empanelment of consultant to assist NMDC for participation in the auction process for mineral blocks in India.
The company intends to participate in the auction or allotment process for mineral blocks to be conducted by state govt. most probably in the month of Nov’15.
For successful participation in the bidding process of the state govt, NMDC requires a suitable consultant who have extensively worked in mining sector as consultant for providing technical, financial & bid management advisory services for screening of mineral blocks and can handle the process which involves various techno- commercial and financial aspects.
Scope of Work:
- The consultant should identify or understand the NMDC’s requirement and interest in potential mines or mineral block to be auctioned
- To study the regarding mineral deposits notified by the respective govt. as primarily study as well as detailed techno-financial assessment
- Process of preparation and submission of bid in the auction process
Eligibility criteria of the consultant:
- Consultant should have at least 3 years of experience providing consultancy services in preparation of techno economic feasibility report
- Currently providing consultancy services, by preliminary study of mineral block, techno-financial assessment of the mineral block and preparation and submission of bids in the coal auction process, etc to any company for participating in the auctions conducted by the Ministry of coal, govt of India for at least two coal blocks
- Average annual turnover of the consultancy should be more than INR 0.1 bn during preceding three financial years
