Vizag Steel has floated a tender for export of various steel products including Billet, Blooms, Rebar and Wire Rod coils. The company is offering a total quantity of 120,500 MT to other countries.
The company, in the tender issue, has offered around 30,000 MT of billet and 60,000 MT of bloom, and has scheduled the delivery of material to 15 Dec’15 FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on direct export basis. Last date for bid submission is till 26 Oct’15.
There is another export tender in pipeline by Vizag steel for 90,000 MT billet/bloom specifically for ASEAN, African and Middle east countries, which is expiring on 09 Oct’15.
Last export tender held on 24 Sept’15 for 90,000 MT billet (65*65 mm and 95*95 mm) and bloom (150*150 mm) . The deal had been closed at around USD 290-295/MT, FoB Vizag Port. Two companies participated in last export tender namely Duferco and Valency International Ltd. Out of the two, Duferco was the highest bidder, confirming about 25,000 MT of bloom at USD 290-295/MT, FoB Vizag Port.
