Week 41 Prospects:
- Eastern India based pellet makers would be under immense pressure as some Odisha based miners have raised fines prices by INR 200/MT. Also, railway freight charges have gone up by INR 150/MT on account of additional busy season charges being levied (in the time months of Apr-Jun and Oct-Mar) on transportation of key commodities including iron ore
- NMDC has reduced iron ore fines prices by INR 200/MT and limited pellet buying from Chhattisgarh based sponge manufacturers might compel pellet makers in central India to reduce offers
- Pellet makers in Bellary might reduce prices amid falling pellet sponge prices
- Kandla pellet offers might also witness reduction as its close substitute imported lump offers to India have also declined and likely to fall further
