Iron Ore Pellets buying has reduced in Indian domestic market as it is not being feasible for producers of sponge iron to pay high for Iron Ore Pellets at present on account of low sales.
Though, some of the Iron Ore Pellets manufacturers in the country are offering the material at higher prices but they have ultimately been able to close deals at much low prices for sometime now.
A senior official at Sarda Minerals & Energy Limited based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh said, “We are getting some booking orders for Iron Ore Pellets at Rs 9,500/MT (Basic Price) and offers have chances of downward movement in the first week of December.
Around 3-4% of correction expected in iron ore lumps prices by NMDC on the 8th of December might account for a fall in present Iron Ore Pellets offers”.
