“Buying of Iron
Ore Pellet has lessened as many of the sponge iron plants across the country have shut down due to
widening losses”, said sources.
Arya Iron &
Steel Ltd, one of the largest Iron Ore Pellet manufacturer in East India is
heard to have cut offers this week and current prices for Fe 63 Iron Ore Pellet
is quoted at Rs 8,100/MT (Loaded to wagons at Barbil, Odisha).
According to steel
manufacturers, “Prevailing Iron Ore Pellet prices are still high and that
further downward trend in prices is anticipated this month”.
