Most of Iron ore miners in Odisha keep prices unchanged for
December.
Mines which are currently operational are Rungta, Indrani
Patnaik and Serajuddin. Essel mining has permission to transport the material
which has been already mined but no fresh mining is taking place.
Weak sponge iron prices and poor steel demand are believed
to be the major reason behind the unchanged offers from miners despite short
supply of iron ore in the country.
