Chrome ore prices of Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) witnessed slight change across all grades in the September round of e-auction. While the price +54 grade friable chrome from the South Kaliapani mines dropped by INR 300 to INR 13,379/MT from INR 13679/MT in the July round of auction. Meanwhile, the 52-54 grade friable chrome ore increased to INR 12,690/MT from INR 12,214/MT in July. Similarly the 48-50 grade prices increased to INR 10,283/MT from INR 10,110/MT. The e-auction was held on 4th of this month for sale of 20,700 MT friable chrome ore and 600 MT chrome ore concentrate for both Odisha based and outside buyers.
