In line with its motive of clearing the ore mined prior to the ban in the state, Directorate of Mines & Geology (DMG), Govt. of Goa has scheduled its next e-auction on 15 Sept’15. It had conducted 8th iron ore e-auction on 08 Sept’15 and 9th e-auction is scheduled today.
This will be the 3rd e-auction for the month of Sept’15. 1.24 MnT iron ore will be offered. The offered quantity comprises of 1.12 MnT ROM (grade ranging from Fe 39-61%), 0.1 MnT fines (grade ranging from Fe 19-63% ) and 0.02 MnT lump (grade ranging from Fe 43-58%).

1.38 MnT iron ore to be put under hammer today
Today, 1.38 MnT iron ore will be auctioned via 9th e-auction in 65 lots. Base prices for today’s e-auction remain stable compared to 8th e-auction. ROM (Fe 46-65%) offered by Codli and Costi mines is base priced at INR 500/MT. Fines (Fe 45%) offered by Tollem plant is having base price of INR 500/MT. And lump (Fe 58-60%) offered by Codli Mines is base priced at INR 500-600/MT.
