- Iron Pellet prices fall on weak buying and as sponge iron prices drop by Rs 600/MT in a week
- Pellet users were unwilling to pay anything high
- Pellet offers were firm in South on stable sponge iron market, less requirement from sponge iron makers, low sales of final products and reduced output of semi finished
- Imported Pellet offers are firm at $145-146/MT CFR for 63 Fe on stable iron ore prices in international market
- Pellet makers in Barbil and Tatanagar lowered offers further by Rs 400/MT and 500/MT respectively
- Chances of imports are less on easy availability at Rs 8,000-8,500/MT in domestic market, low buying interest, weak rupee, falling steel prices and as imports are costlier by Rs 800-1,000/MT
