An Indian exporter has concluded an export deal of 30,000 MT mill scale with a Chinese trader. Mill scale exports have slowed down on account of declining prices in Chinese market and better realization in domestic market.
Sources mentioned that vessel named ‘pac star’ will be carrying about 30,000 MT mill scale from Kandla Port and will be shipped by Bagadiya Brothers (P) Ltd. Bulk quantity price for Fe 70/68% mill scale is assessed at around USD 57-58/MT, CFR China.
Indian exports of mill scale in July was recorded at about 90,000 MT at an average price of USD 48-50/MT, FoB Kandla Port (Indian West Coast).
