Trading prices of Hot Rolled Coil in the domestic market has
remained unchanged with increase in prices by primary manufacturers like ESSAR
and JSW in the range of Rs 700-1000/MT.
Currently the market for HR coil of 2.5 MM in Mumbai and Chennai
is at Rs 40,700/MT and 42.200/MT with increase in the price from the
previous prices whereas on the other hand price for Delhi and Ludhiana stands
firm at Rs 39,600/MT and 40,300/MT respectively.
Market for HR coil of 2.5 MM in Tatanagar is hovering at Rs
40,000/MT inclusive of all taxes.
Increase in prices by ESSAR and JSW has very less effect in
northern region, as major steel makers like SAIL, Jindal and TATA are keeping their
prices firm seeing the current market scenario.
